Title III Coordinator

Position Summary

The Title Ill Coordinator for the Sponsored Programs and Title Ill office will oversee grant activities of the projects that are funded under Title Ill. The Coordinator will also monitor the activities and project director's efforts to carry out the objectives and goals of the projects.


Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and organize the data pertinent to the required Title Ill quarterly and annual reports.

• Monitor the U.S. Department of Education policy and procedure changes for Title Ill and prepare notices for the office.

• Oversee grant timeline and objectives to remain in compliance with the grant.

• Assist faculty and staff with Title Ill Professional Development activities.

• Oversee and maintain on a day-to-day basis Title Ill projects.

• Create and maintain a variety of documents, spreadsheets, databases and reports for Title Ill projects.

• Prepare requisitions, budget revisions, and related forms for Title Ill projects.

• Collaborate and establish effective communication channels with Sponsored Programs and Title Ill Manager, faculty, staff, and upper management on the budget, progress and goals of the Title Ill program.

• Perform related work or other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Basic understanding of budgets and budget management preferred.

• Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel required.

• Must be detailed orientated, flexible, and extremely organized.

• Knowledge of state, local, and federal grants, federal guidelines and procedures, and federal funding regulations preferred.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while being professional and discreet.

• Demonstrated strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, prioritize workload and work independently in a customer-focused environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field or;

• 3 or more years of grant-related experience, preferably in higher education or other non-profit organizations that includes monitoring or administering grants or other restricted funds.
