Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing clerical support for the Jefferson City Main Campus of Lincoln University.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Prepare travel requisitions and other entries into Colleague and Concur systems.
  • Maintain filing and record keeping systems.
  • Prepare correspondence, minutes, reports, and work with databases.
  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and manage emails.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and materials.
  • Type documents necessary for program management.
  • Operate office equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain office files and type 35 wpm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in Datatel, Colleague, and Concur is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Two years of clerical experience is required, preferably in a university setting.
  • College or Business School training is preferred.
