Position Summary

Join Lincoln University's Regional Recruiter and Admissions team!

A remote recruiter will be expected to serve as the liaison for constituents in their assigned area and the strategic implementation of campus recruitment initiatives. Regional Recruiters will be expected to meet established enrollment and recruitment goals, as well as develop new sources and pathways for the recruitment of new and transfer students.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Report to the Director of Admissions based on weekly, quarterly, and yearly assessment of outcomes.
  • Collaborate with LU recruitment representatives in the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies and tactics.
  • Plan and execute local events and outreach tailored to recruitment in assigned area.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships and a contact database with institutions from which to promote the recruitment of new freshman and transfer students.
  • Maintain a schedule of visits to the Lincoln University main campus to promote regular training, input, and advancement of recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Manage communication with non-degree, non-traditional, traditional, transfer and readmit students, with an in-depth knowledge of admissions, advising, and financial aid processes at Lincoln University.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely - with sound communication and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Create and present promotional initiatives and materials.
  • Understanding of undergraduate academic and non-academic experiences at Lincoln University.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
  • Physical capability of transporting/lifting materials associated with set up and management of recruitment events.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in higher education, marketing, or a related field.
  • Two years of job-related experience in student services, admissions, or recruitment at a college or university.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of travel by car for recruitment events.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to periodically travel to Lincoln University campus for recruitment events and meetings.
  • Ability to navigate to and around all areas of the assigned region for recruitment events.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
