Project Specialist, Graduate and Extended Studies

Position Summary

The Project Specialist for Graduate and Extended Studies will provide services to students entering Lincoln University from outside the traditional pathway, and will interact directly with students, faculty, high school personnel, military staff, and others to help build seamless connections from our remote and extended campuses to Lincoln University.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Graduate student recruitment, may include travel and preparation of materials.
• Admit students applying to dual credit, dual enrollment, and graduate school.
• Work with LU admissions to move dual credit and graduate admissions to the CRM platform.
• Maintain and update student files for BLS, Prime Power School, and graduate school.
• Prepare and host the annual Command College enrollment event.
• Collect, analyze, and prepare data for presentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of budgets and budget management.
• Willingness to travel for recruitment purposes, as well as to remote sites.
• Ability to work with data in a variety of formats.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree or 5 years of related experience in higher education is required.

Physical Requirements

• Light sedentary office work.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
