Assistant Professor of Psychology

Lincoln University invites applications for a full-time one-year Assistant Professor of
Psychology in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The position will begin in
August 2023. This position is eligible for full benefits.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to apply for the full-time tenure-track Assistant
Professor position that will begin in the August 2024 after a national search. If selected the
candidate will be given credit for one-year of service toward their progression to tenure.

Area of expertise within psychology is open, but preference will be given to those with a strong
background in either statistical/experimental techniques or clinical/counseling psychology.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Psychology or closely related area. ABDs are welcome
to apply. Experience teaching at the college level, preferably in environments with student
populations of diverse backgrounds, is preferred, as is a candidate who could contribute to the
growth of the program. Experience obtaining grants or other forms of external program funding
is also desirable.
