Purpose:
The purpose of the campus visit coordinator/data specialist is to serve as the initial contact for on-campus visitors. Ensures all details of weekly campus tours and special events, such as Blue Tiger Day. The campus visit coordinator/data specialist will also assist with the processing of application materials, rendering of admission decisions and general admission reporting.
Essential Job Functions:
- Report directly to the Director of Admissions based upon weekly, quarterly, and yearly assessment of outcomes.
- Schedules, plans, and executes individual and group campus visits.
- Answers phone calls from interested students and/or their family members. Provides friendly greetings, gives accurate information, and makes referrals to additional campus contacts for follow-up as needed.
- Prepares campus visit materials such as agenda, welcome gifts, etc.
- Corresponds with prospective students and campus partners via email. Records interactions and enters appropriate details into student information system.
- Collaborates with recruiters and other staff to ensure a positive, seamless, and memorable experience for campus visitors.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts or other issues independently in a professional and timely manner.
- Supervises a team of student ambassadors and provides them work direction, training, and support.
- Collaborates with institutional team members to develop an efficient, data-driven enrollment process to achieve the University's strategic recruitment goals and objectives.
- Participate in regular provision and analysis of data and research associated with yearly reviews of LU recruitment strategies and goals.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Suggests strategies for continual improvement of the campus visit experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Marketing, or related field.
- 2 years of job-related experience in event planning or recruitment at a college or university.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics:
- Ability to work independently and remotely through the application of sound communication and organizational skills.
- A proven commitment to the development and demonstration of outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to draft and present promotional initiatives and materials that are well-written and tailored to the communities within an assigned area.
- A demonstrated understanding of undergraduate academic and non-academic experiences at Lincoln University.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- The ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license, and the physical capability of transporting/lifting materials associated with the set up and management of recruitment venues.
- A demonstrated ability to contribute collaboratively to a team centered approach using remote engagement.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of travel for recruitment events.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to periodically travel to Lincoln University campus for recruitment events and meetings.
- Ability to navigate to and around all areas of the assigned region for recruitment events.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
